Glackin Physiotherapy focuses on personalized, one-on-one physical therapy sessions and specializes in running related injuries and sports injuries.  We treat high school athletes, collegiate athletes, semi-professional and professional athletes, and anyone that wants to be athletic at any stage of their life.

Instead of being passed between multiple providers, techs, or assistants, you receive dedicated time with your physical therapist during your visit. This allows your therapist to better understand your symptoms, answer your questions, provide hands-on care, and tailor your treatment plan to your goals.

Glackin Physiotherapy is an out-of-network provider.  That means the patient provides payment upfront and GlackinPT provides the receipt (a superbill) to the patient so they can submit to their insurance directly.  We can guide you on the process to ensure you know how to check your benefits and what to do to receive reimbursement.

Sessions at Glackin Physiotherapy are typically one hour for your evaluation, and 45-55 minutes for follow-up treatments. This gives your therapist time to evaluate your movement, provide treatment, teach exercises, and adjust your plan based on how your body responds.

Georgia is a direct-access state; therefore, you do not need a referral to start therapy.

We will request the name of your primary care physician (or referring provider) and fax our evaluation to this provider.

Expect us to listen, and expect to move!  Your first visit will include a detailed conversation about your symptoms, medical history, goals, and activity limitations. We will then perform a movement-based evaluation to identify contributing factors and weak links. We typically provide treatment on the first day, which may include hands-on therapy, exercise instruction, education, and a personalized plan for what to do between visits.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. For lower body concerns, shorts or loose-fitting pants are helpful. For shoulder, neck, or upper back concerns, a tank top or loose shirt may make evaluation and treatment easier.
